BIOTE(A)CH: Bridging the Gap Between Biotechnology and Industry: Integrating Design Thinking and Flipped Learning Project Meeting
Under the coordination of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Department of Basic Education, Classroom Education Faculty Member Prof. Dr. The first meeting of the project named BIOTE(A)CH: Bridging the Gap Between Biotechnology and Industry: Integrating Design Thinking and Flipped Learning, carried out by Çiğdem ŞAHİN TAŞKIN, was held in Çanakkale on 09-10 March.
Among the partners of the project are Glycogest Biotechnology Ltd. Company (Turkey), Demokritus University of Thrace (Greece), University of Maribor (Slovenia), Mellis Egitim Teknoloji Tic. Ltd. Sti. (Turkey), University of Tuscia (Italy) and University of Zagreb (Croatia). Uluova Süt Tic. Inc. and Elit Chocolate and San. Inc. contributes.
In addition to the project outputs at the project meeting attended by all partners; Issues related to project management, responsibilities of the coordinator institution and partners were discussed.
The project is of great importance in terms of ensuring that university students studying biotechnology, which is known for its many innovations in the fields of health, agriculture, food and environment, effectively use the knowledge and skills they have acquired during their education in line with the needs of the industry.
